Summary

InterGenic aims to develop an educational framework for intergenerational learning to support the EU's digital and green transition.

The objectives are:

  • improving the transfer of digital skills from young people to seniors,
  • teaching sustainable practices by seniors to young people,
  • proposing local solutions for this dual transition of sustainability and digitalisation.

InterGenic has 4 main types of actions:

  • training youth mentors in digital skills,
  • training senior mentors in sustainable practices,
  • developing and testing common action for local solutions,
  • bridging the gap between generations.

Expected output

  • Development and implementation of two training packages (i.e. one for youth mentors and one for senior mentors), each accompanied by co-developed training packages.
  • 7 intergenerational co-activities across Europe to support the dual transition of sustainability and digitisation
  • Publication of an eBook with good examples
  • Public awareness campaigns throughout the duration of the project
