Short bio

Johan holds a degree in commercial sciences and an additional Master's degree in Business Administration. For twenty-five years he combined a business activity in various financial positions (a.o. at Ahlers, Hapag Lloyd, Hamann and Schréder) with some teaching assignments (a.o. at KU Leuven, Odisee, Hogeschool Gent and Syntra).

Now, Johan focuses more on teaching assignments: he currently teaches management accounting, management reporting, financial analysis, and financial management. He is also involved in some research assignments at CenSE where he mainly focuses on profitability studies and reporting. His regular contacts with the industry keep him involved in the field.
